The AVID Summer Institute (SI) experience shines with three key elements: interactive Communities of Practice (CoPs), an inspiring and reimagined General Session, and dedicated Site Team time. Each of these components plays a vital role in helping educators get the most out of their journey by sparking fresh ideas, meaningful connections, and impactful strategies. Energizing professional learning is provided at SI through dynamic CoPs tailored to meet the unique needs of educators. These collaborative groups provide AVID educators with the necessary strategies and tools to empower students and drive their success. AVID’s professional development isn’t just about teaching—it’s about transforming classrooms and helping students reach their highest potential in college and career readiness.
