The AVID National Conference is a forum to discuss and share innovations and best practices on how educators can open access to rigorous curriculum for all students to ensure college and career readiness. National organizations who partner with AVID schools to promote college and career readiness are invited to describe the benefits of their partnerships. Educational thought leaders come together to learn from the experiences of successful AVID systems. We invite current AVID member districts, as well as those interested in learning more about AVID and how it might impact their schools and communities.

Concurrent sessions will focus on instruction, systems, leadership, and culture, which include a variety of topics:

  • Implementing and Expanding the AVID College Readiness System (ACRS)
  • AVID and Advanced Programs (AP®, IB®, AICE, dual enrollment)
  • Leadership for College Readiness
  • Schoolwide Strategies for Increasing Rigor and Support for All Students
  • School Cultures that Open Equity and Access
