LCAP (Local Control and Accountability Plan)
Resources to include AVID in your District’s LCAP
Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF) and Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) offer an excellent opportunity for your district to expand and deepen the AVID College Readiness System at your schools, grades K-12.
AVID provides the foundational academic and social support system for students that will accelerate student achievement and school climate transformations to meet the goals set by your district in the 8 Priority Areas of the LCAP.
Our goal is to ensure that the AVID System is written into all CA district LCAP’s. Toward this end, we have prepared resource materials for your use listed below.
Your AVID California Team and AVID Center Development are here to support you as you need: answer questions; provide additional information; develop budgets for LCAP totals; and meet or conference call with your district leaders.
